Turning Circle

ASX's tight turning circle helps you manoeuvre around town. Perform tight u-turns with ease thanks to the 10.6m turning circle.

Dusk Sensing Headlamps

Dusk sensing headlamps do the thinking for you. Your lights automatically come on when you're travelling through a tunnel.

Fog Lamps

ASX 4WD models come standard with fog lights for extra visibilty in tricky driving conditions.

Alloy Wheels

The ASX's good looks are finished off with a set of stylishly designed 16" Alloy wheels, while the Aspire comes standard with 17" Alloy wheels.

Smart Key Keyless Operation

Smart Ket is Mitsubishi's advanced security transmitter, which means completely keyless operation. Thanks to Smart Key in the Aspire model, ASX can recognise the key within a 70cm radius. So, you can lock and unloack the doors, open the tailgate and even start the engine, all whilst the Smart Key is still tucked in your pocket or bag.

Steering Wheel Audio and Cruise Control

For your convenience, ASX 4WD models have cruise and audio controls built into the steering wheel.

One Touch Start System

ASX features a keyless activation system that allows you to start driving without ever taking the key out of your pokcet or handbag. To start the ignition, all you need to do is press the button located near the centre of the dash panel and the brake pedal at the same time. With one touch, the engine instantly starts.

Rockford Fosgate® Premium Audio System

Delivering an impressive 710 watts, with 9 surround-sound speakers and an integrated 10 inch subwoofer. ASX packs a serious punch in the sound department.

Multi-informtion Display

Full colour, Hi-contrast, LCD multi-information display provide immediate information including fuel levels, trip and total distance, fuel consumption, outside weather conditions and vehicle status.

Bluetooth® phone connectivity

When a call comes through, the Bluetooth system automatically cuts into the radio and when a paired Bluetooth compatible phone is within the vehicle, it's automatically connected.

Mitsubishi Multi Communication System (MMCS)

MMCS is an integrated communication and media system that provides satelitte navigation, a reversing camera, audio control, and a host of other features, controlled via the 7" full colour in dash touch screen. MMCS also allows you to customise features such as dusk sensing headlamp sensitivity, wiper speed, climate control and room lamp shutdown delay.

1.8 litre mivec direct injection diesel engiine

For those with an eye for exceptional economy, the 1.8 litre MIVEC diesel engine delivers the latest in diesel technology for greater fuel efficiency delivering an exceptional 5.9 litres per 100km* without a loss in performance. With 110kW of power and 300Nm of torque.

Paddle Shifters

Available on the ASX Aspire Petrol model, the CVT in Sports Mode provides instantaneous 6-step manual control via the lightweight magnesium steering wheel paddle shifters putting the driver in complete control for sporty driving.

6 speed manual transmission

A 6 Speed Manual Transmission is available on the 1.8L MIVEC direct injection diesel engine. The 6 speed manual and optimal gear ratios achieves a balance of dynamic performance and fuel efficiency.

Safety

Active traction control

ATC helps maintain traction on slippery surfaces. This intelligent system helps control the engine output and braking to prevent driving wheels from spinning. When sensing loss of traction in an independant wheel, ATC applies brakeforce to that wheel and sends extra power and torque to other wheels that have traction to keep you moving and safe.

Anti lock braking system

ASX is equipped with ABS which allows the driver to maintain steering control of the vehicle, letting the driver manouevre around objects under eavy braking situations.

Rise Safety

At the heart of any integrated safety system is outstanding design. Mitsubishi Reinforced Impact Safety Revolution (RISE) design combines an energy absorbing front section, with a strong, rigid occupant cell to provide outstanding family protection, in the event of an accident.

Reversing Parking Sensors

The reversing sensors on the ASX will warn you if you get too close to an object behind you and will also take the very last cm of guesswork out of tricky parking situations.

Reversing Camera

The MMCS reversing camera supplments the drivers rear field of view by automatically appearing on the screen when the reverse gear in engaged. Combines with rear parking sensors that alert you when objects get too close, parking your ASX in tight spots is easy.
